MaximIcer (#1023) on Heavy Duty (#1027HD)
Hawaii's Finest Shave Ice Machine
Most
shave ice profits are made from the high volume locations - the result
of continuous production of the extra fine "snow". A load of
cubed or cracked ice up to 20 to 25 lbs. or more in the heavy plastic
tube, plus the hopper in the machine requires some serious torque for
continuous shaving.
No problem with the 3/4 HP Brute Force Motor found in both
the #1027HD and the #1047 below.
The MaximIcer helps create continuous shave ice production.
With up to 20 lbs. of cracked ice or cubes, it's easy to see why you must
use a heavy duty drive motor.
Hawaii's Finest Shave Ice Machine with
1/3 HP Motor (#1027)
The
professional Midway Operators wanted a more powerful Shave Ice machine.
The #1027 with its Gear Drive 1/3 HP motor has long been the Midway favourite!
For continuous, ultra-high production, you may wish to use
the MaximIcer cylinder shown above. Today, about 50%
of all #1027 models are shipped with MaximIcer for these production locations.
15.5"W x 20" x 21.5"D (39 x 51 x 55 cm),
shipping weight 57 lbs.
Super Shaver Shave Ice Machine with
3/4 HP Gear Drive Motor (#1047)
You asked for it ... a higher production, more powerful
shave ice machine. The #1047 is the ultimate - the world's highest production,
most powerful shave ice machine. Hopper takes a full 8 lb. bag of cracked
ice or cubes and quickly turns it into snow that is "finer than nature's
finest!" Can you handle that?
The base casting of the Super Shaver is about the same size as the #1027
above. You can see that the rest of the machine is dramatically larger.
Features include a "Kill Switch" on the laoding door for operator
safety! Stainless Steel main column. Weight approximately 75 lbs., 31"
(79 cm) tall when the fill lid is open.
A really skilled operator will need the #1008
foot switch on any of these machiens. It helps to have a "hands-free"
operation.
The 3/4" HP gear motor is dual rated for 230 Volt, 50 Hz. 18"W
x 21"D x 31"H (46 x 53 x 79 cm) with lid open.
Super Shaver Shavemaster II (#1005)
The
#1005 Shavemaker II is the only American made Shave Ice Machine which
operates by rotating a round block of ice over a fixed stainless steel
blade. Shaving pressure is not "automatic!" You adjust the blade
height to accomplish the fineness yoiu desire. You actually get hte "feel"
of it once you start shaving snow that is finer than nature's finest.
Recently, many improvements were made in the Shavemaster
II, such as the "automatic feed", easier blade adjustment and
better safety inter-lock. In addition, improved ball bearing support for
the main shaft leads to longer life.
This unit is UL listed. If you don't have the ice compartment door firmly
locked, the machine will not turn the block of ice. The poly-carbonate
dooor safely retains all the pieces of a broken ice block unitl the operator
turns the motor off, removes the pieces and installs a new block.
With the Shavemaster, you'll get a little more production. Quiet "V
Belt" eliminates the noisy gear chatter found in other units. Cast
stainless steel ice block retaining disk. Cast aluminium upper and lower
base castings. Pulleys plated to prevent rust.
28.5" 972 cm) high (add 7" [18 cm] when the block retention
shaft is up). 10"W x 20"D (25 x 51 cm) base casting. Shipping
weight 110 lbs.
"Olde New Orleans" Blick Ice
Shaver (#1087)
This
is one of the most powerful ice shavers in the world. Features a 3/4HP
motor. A "V Belt" pulley reduces the motor speed down to about
350 RPM. The large three-blade shaver head planes snow off of the larger
block and delivers it from the chute at the lower right-hand corner of
the body. The model #1008 Foot Switch is a very handy
addition.
To operate the #1087, put a 6 to 12 lb. block of clear ice into the ice
block compartment. The fron door has a "safety switch" to protect
the operator until the cast aluminium door is safely locked in the closed
position! The heavy-duty lever on the left-hand side allows the operator
to ratchet the handle to apply pressure. The more pressure, the coarser
the ice - light pressure provides a finer snow.
The model #1087 is shipped complete with the catch basin and the 8 oz.
