Foot Switch for any Ice Shaver (#1008)
It
takes two hands to properly prepare a serving of Shave Ice! To make the
task easy, plug the machine into the foot switch outlet and plug the foot
switch cord into the power supply. Turn the shaver on and off as needed
to make perfect Shave Ice servings every time!
Ice Molds with Lids (#1085)
One Dozen Ice Molds with Lids (#1085DZ)
When
you use a Block Ice Shaver, insuring an adequate inventory of blocks to
shave is your responsibility.
When you are out of round blocks, you may be out of business! It is important
to have a dozen or two molds "working" at all times - then pack
your blocks in poly bags and repeat the freezing process.

Galvanized Steel Ice Block Molds (#1487)

you have a Block Ice Shaver and you are out of block ice, you are out
of business! Don't let that happen to you! Freeze your own. Keep several

Replacement Shave Ice & Ice Shaver Blades
When the blades are dull, the motor works harder and runs hotter. All
ice shaver motors have "thermal overload" protection.
It's important to know how to change blades. Most owner-operators know
how to do this.
BE CAREFUL! When you have honed the blades on the #1026
Diamond Blade Sharpener, the edges are extremely dangerous.
Always own a spare blade or set of blades.
Sharpen them at your convenience when you change so you always have a
sharp set ready to go.
Some Shave Ice people sharpen blades on a daily basis in busy locations.
Some Sno-Konette owners don't change blades even once a year. Sharp blades
will shave finer snow. Fine snow has a higher perceived value and commands
a higher price.
If your machine does not have an adjustable blade, then it helps to have
a thin metal gauge to help you get the correct setting. Replacement blade
sets include a gauge.

Diamond Blade Sharpener (#1026)
Some
people sharpen their shaver blades daily. The colder your ice, the more
frequently you need to bring back the razon edge with a diamond sharpener.
