The romance of Candy Coated Apples goes back onver 150 years!
Apples are a fruit that happens to be found almost everywhere. And, Gold
Medal Candy Apple Cookers have been shipped to almost every country in
the world. Whether you call them Taffy Apples or Jelly Apples or just
Candy Apples, whenever you cook a super saturated sugar solution with
the traditional cinnaomon or cherry flavour up to 275° to 300°F,
and then dip an apple in this hot solution and let it cool, it's a great
confection with a liberal dose of good unutrition inside. For best results,
bring apples to room temperature. Wipe them clean and insert the stick
through the blossom end. Use a candy thermometer, work fast. The more
times you heat and cool the Red Candy mixture, the thicker it gets. Most
of all, be careful! This stuff is hot.
Hot Shot Electric Candy Apple Stove

This
is really a deluxe unit - special German-made heating element with infinite
control lets you cook quickly and maintain your mixture temp in a "dipping"
mode. Theoretically, you'll get more yield per double batch of Reddy Apple
Mix. ALso, you could use one bag of Appl-Ez, plus five lbs. of sugar -
total 95 oz., plus a little water. While the 112 oz. Double Reddy Apple
batch takes 20 to 24 minutes, the slightly smaller batch should be ready
to dip in 20 minutes or less.

Reddy Apple Cooker (#4008)
This
counter top 1500 Watt cooker brings Candy Apple production to virtually
any location. One bag of Ready Apple Mix, plus 6 ounces of water with
full heat on, brings this to dipping temperatuer in about 20 minutes.
Yield about 40 to 60 apples; depending upon th esize and how quickly you
work (before the mixture thickens).

Double Batch Reddy Apple Cooker (#4016)
Similar
to the #4008 but with a higher wattage. Cook a double
batch - two pouches of Reddy Apple Mix, plus 6 to 7 ounces of water.
Ready to dip in about 20 to 24 minutes. 80 to 120 apples
per batch depending upon the size and how quickly you work before the
mixture thickens.

into the top - in 60 minutes it has melted everything.
