The Irish Popcorn & Snackfood Co. was established in 1995 - mainly supplying the cinema industry with their popcorn machines and supplies. The findings from the extensive market survey was that there was no one company in Ireland that supplied all the concessionary products for these outlets and more importantly deliver a quality service backup. Securing the agency for the largest supplier of cinema and funfood equipment in the world “Gold Medal” The Irish Popcorn & Snackfood Co. soon began to expand the business and become experts in this field. Several of our maintenance management and service engineers flew to the U.S.A. to gain the expert knowledge required. In the endeavour to supply a top quality maize our research led us to “Weaver Popcorn” the top popcorn supply company in the world. After extensive testing and comparisons on other brands of maize we also came to the conclusion that this was the best quality available.

We are now the largest importer in Ireland of “raw maize” supplying only the highest expansion ratio grade corn to our clients. Our popcorn is certified GM free.
The Irish Popcorn & Snackfood Co. has been growing every year since and has recently added a manufacturing plant employing nine permanent staff and many temporary staff during the busy seasons.

Our specialised business is Funfood equipment and supplies.
Our Funfood products include popcorn, hot dogs, slush ice, nacho chips, nacho dips, candy floss, toffee apples, waffle cones, pralined nuts and ice cream toppings to mention just a few.
Since 1995 we have become the largest supplier in the Republic of Ireland of Popcorn and other Snackfoods to the Cinema Industry.

We supply all machines, raw material and finished products to outlets all over Ireland. We install, service and guarantee every machine that we supply.

The Company works hard to increase and improve the products continually. With our Engineering and Product Development team we have expanded our pre popped popcorn to include many new flavours i.e. *Mature cheddar cheese popcorn, *Sour cream and chives, *Bacon and cheese, *Toffee popcorn, *Candy coated popcorn and more. These new flavours are proving to be very successful. Our manufacturing plant also produces “Candee Fluff” a novel idea in selling candyfloss. The candyfloss is made to order, packed in attractive plastic tubs and comes in many different flavours. All products are manufactured under stringent conditions with strict quality control, which complies with all health and safety regulations.
Orders are required 5 to 7 days in advance of delivery but as we usually can assess each of our customers order patterns, delivery can often take less than that.
